He was born and brought up in Louisiana Missouri. Clason attended the University of Nebraska and completed his education there. After that, he served in the United States Army at the time of the Spanish American War. So he was not only a businessman and a writer but also a soldier.
Personal Life of George S Clason
In the year 1900, George S Clason moved to Denver. He was married twice to two ladies namely Ida Ann Venable and Anna Burt. He had two children who also became authors named Clyde B. Clason and Robin Clason Mcknown. Her daughter Robin was also an American writer of young adult literature and was also head of a foundation that helped the widows and orphans who died fighting for the French Resistance.
In 1949, Clason again moved to Napa California, and lived there until his death on 5 April 1957.

George S Clason started two companies named The Clason Map Company of Denver and the other company named Collaredo and the Clason Publishing Company. His Clason Map company was the first to publish a road Atlas of the United States and Canada. However, it didn’t survive the Great depression.
