When the couple got divorced then Ivanka went on to attend boarding school. She did her schooling in the Chapin School and later transferred to Choate Rosemary Hall in Connecticut. At age 14, Ivanka decided to try her hand at modeling and she soon signed on with Elite Model Management and honored her first cover with Seventeen magazine in 1997.

Ivanka soon left the world of modeling and moved her ambitions toward the family real estate business. She was graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and spent two years working at a real estate development organization. Later, Ivanka joined the Trump Organization and handled executive VP of acquisitions and development. She has worked on high profile buildings and resorts as well.
