At farming Level 5, you will be given two choices – Rancher or Tiller. Rancher makes animal products sell for 20% more gold while Tiller makes crops sell for 10% more gold. In most cases, Tiller is a good option as there are two reasons behind this. First, animal products can be sold raw so they should be crafted into artisan goods. And second, choosing the Tiller option will unlock the Artisan profession at level 10 which is far better than other options.

If you chose Rancher then At farming Level 10, you will be given two choices- Coopmaster and Shepherd. Coopmaster helps coop-dwelling animals to become friendly towards you, it cuts incubation time in half and also increases the quality of coop products. Shepherd helps barn-dwelling animals to become friendly, allows sheep to produce wool frequently, and also increases the quality of barn products.

If you chose Tiller then At farming Level 10, you will be given two choices- Artisan and Agriculturist. Artisan will allow you to sell your artisan goods for 40% more gold. The Agriculturist profession will allow you to grow crops 10% faster.

Mining

With Mining skills, you can destroy any rock with bombs, your pickaxe, or by a monster. With every level up in mining, it will give you more pickaxe proficiency.

At Mining Level 5, you will be given two choices – Miner or Geologist. If you choose a Miner, you will get an additional ore in every vein. If you choose a Geologist there will be a 50% chance of finding a pair of gems when breaking a gem node.

If you chose Miner then at Mining Level 10, you will be given two choices – Blacksmith or Prospector. As a Blacksmith, you will receive an additional 50% bonus when selling metal bars. As a Prospector, you can get a doubled chance of finding coal.

If you chose Geologist then at Mining Level 10, you will be given two choices- Excavator or Gemologist. As an Excavator, you will get a doubled chance of finding geodes. As a Gemologist, all the gems you will sell will net you 30% more gold.

Foraging

Foraging skills will not only allow you to forage items around the valley but also applies to chopping down trees. And with every higher level at Foraging, you will be more efficient with an axe.

At Foraging Level 5, you will be given two choices – Forester or Gatherer. As a Forester, you will get 20% more wood when chopping trees, stumps, and logs. As a Gatherer, you will get a 20% chance of a doubled harvest when foraging items.

If you chose Forester then at Foraging Level 10, you will be given two choices- Lumberjack or Tapper. As a Lumberjack, you will be able to harvest hardwood from any type of tree. As a Tapper, you will gain an additional 20% gold when selling syrups.

If you chose Gatherer then at Foraging Level 10, you will be given two choices- Botanist or Tracker. As a Botanist, every item you forage will be of the highest possible quality. As a Tracker, you will get small arrows on the screen that help you guide towards forageables, artifact spots, and panning locations around the valley.

Fishing

Fishing skill is not only related to catching things with a fishing rod but also leveled up by harvesting crab pots, catching trash, and reeling in seaweed and algae.

At Fishing Level 5, you will be given two choices- being a Fisher or Trapper. As a Fisher, you will receive an additional 25% bonus when selling fishes. As a Trapper, you will need few resources to craft crab pots.

If you chose Fisher then at Fishing Level 10, you will be given two choices- become an Angler or Pirate. As an Angler, you will sell fish for a 50% bonus. Like a Pirate, you will get a double chance to find treasure when fishing.

If you chose Trapper then at Fishing Level 10, you will be given two choices- being a Mariner or Luremaster. As a Mariner, you will get the privilege of your crab pots no longer producing junks. As a Luremaster, your crab pots won’t require bait.

Combat

Combat skill is related to killing monsters. Different monsters will award you different amounts of experience.

At Combat Level 5, you will be given two choices- Fighter or Scout. As a Fighter, you can deal with 10% more damage with all their attacks and an additional 15 max HP. As a Scout, you will have an increased 50% critical strike chance.

If you chose Fighter then at Combat Level 10, you will be given two options to choose between Brute and Defender. As a Brute, you can deal 15% more damage to enemies. As a Defender, you will receive an extra 25 max HP.

If you chose Scout then at Combat Level 10, you will be given two choices between Acrobat and Desperado. As an Acrobat, you will have a halved cooldown time on special moves. Desperado will double the damage that their critical strikes do. It will double the damage after accounting for all bonuses including your weapons, your rings, and more.

The Statue of Uncertainty

If you are not satisfied with the profession you chose before then the Statue of Uncertainty can help you change the professions. All you need is the key to the Sewers and 10,000 gold for this.

For changing your professions, you just need to pay the Statue of Uncertainty and it will help you select the skill that you would like to swap professions in. Then, that night, you will be allowed to pick a Level 5 and Level 10 profession again.  This can be done as many times as you want.
