There are numerous occasions that cannot be complete without mehndi. Eid is among them. Chand Raat is celebrated on the night prior to the Eid. The night is considered to be one of those nights when everyone Muslim around the world is the most joyful on each street and all the bazaars are gleaming with. There are mehndi shops and Bangles everywhere. Little girls are getting mehndi done in the stalls, along with Bangles. This event is celebrated as the wedding. There is an endless stream of blessings throughout. Chand Raat is among my favorite events for me.
Dress New Clothes
I enjoy visiting the markets to watch the crowds and relish the process of preparing. Everyone is excited to dress in new clothes and enjoy the blessings that come with the event. Little girls are extremely happy to have matching bangles to their Designer Anarkali outfits. The ambience is distinct and lovely. There is a distinct feeling in the homes. The girls are always busy applying mehndi on their hands while mothers are occupied in the kitchens, preparing food for the wedding.
My Favorite Henna Style
My favouritehenna style is a basic round circle that has a simple design around it. I typically apply mehndi by myself. It is my most requested thing to do for occasions like Eid. My Chand Raat is the one who applies Henna on other people. Therefore, I don’t have much enough time to apply it to my own hands. However, I use mehndi on any circumstance, no matter if it’s three days of Eid. The custom of applying mehndi has been practiced for a long time ago. I can still recall the time that mehndi was not a cone. was used, but we would apply mehndi powder by bringing it using a finger on the hands of the others.
